Panhandlers Causing Concern at Local Beavercreek Church

An increase in panhandlers at the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene is causing some concern. So much so that the church has instituted new security measures. Prior to the new security measures, doors to the church were unlocked at 6:00 am. Voters in Beavercreek showed strong support for renewing levies this election, passing all with a margin of at least 20 points each. County levies enjoyed similar support. In fact, the only issues that were even close were two of Beavercreek’s proposed Charter Amendments dealing with appropriations. The county voted against State Issue 3, but the issue gained enough votes elsewhere in Ohio to pass. See below for election results. > Read More
