Microsoft guzzles up game studios and teases Xbox One game streaming

The Xbox One X is hailed by Microsoft as the "world's most powerful console; the device is faster and has more computing power than its predecessors, the original Xbox One and newer Xbox One S. It competes with Sony's Playstation 4 Pro".

Considering how much effort Microsoft has put into backward compatibility, I would expect the Scarlett devices to support current gen games but offer more advanced features and align possibly with Microsoft's upcoming game-streaming services.

The company has previewed 18 Microsoft-exclusive games to strengthen its Xbox One console platform.

Undead Labs is one of five studios teaming up with Microsoft, including "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" developer Ninja Theory and "We Happy Few" developer Compulsion.

Forza Horizon 4 is the fourth title in a series of racing games by Xbox.

E3 2018 officially opens next Tuesday, but many large game publishers and hardware makers including Microsoft are holding preshow events.

The game, "Forza Horizon 4", is set in the United Kingdom and will feature game play during the four seasons, created to make the driving experience radically different even in the same landscape.

Compulsion Games is the last addition, as they now wrap up production on We Happy Few. Microsoft made the announcement during today during a press briefing ahead of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles today.

All the new studios will fall under the Microsoft Studios brand.

Microsoft also announced their Biggest Xbox Sale for the Year 2018, gamers could find huge discounts on hundreds of different games, accessories, Xbox Game Pass and Live Gold subscriptions, plus $50 off ANY Xbox One.

While still in development, EA said their cloud gaming initiative would allow people to play high-end games on mobile phones, on smart TVs and on low-end laptops like Chromebooks. The game will be available for Xbox One and PC.
