As residents assembled for Beavercreek’s annual Memorial Day service, a traffic accident that sent one person to the hospital put a damper of the days events. The accident, involving a van and a car, occurred opposite Beavercreek’s Veteran’s Memorial on North Fairfield Road. Police and fire were dispatched to the scene. One person was sent in a stretcher to the hospital. No word on the condition of the victim.
