“I’m running for Congress because I believe we need to restore the core conservative values of the Republican Party to our state and our country,” said Hood. “I have always defended life, traditional marriage and the Constitution – including the Second Amendment.”

Hood has a Bachelors of Science in Business from The Ohio State University, where he majored in both Marketing and Economics. According to Hood, his academics, experience in business, life, and public service, have provided him with a unique and comprehensive understanding of Ohio’s social, and economic needs.

“The people of the 7th Congressional District deserve a representative they can trust. I always have and will continue to be true to the Republican principles of smaller government, lower taxes and traditional family values,” Hood said.
