Greene County Auditor Luwanna Delaney’s office is one of the winners of the state’s “Making Your Tax Dollar Count” Award.


David Landon and Mike Colbert from the Auditor of State’s Office, came before the Greene County Commissioner’s Board to present the County and County Auditor Luwanna Delaney with the “Making Your Tax Dollar Count” award at the December 12 meeting. The award is given to counties for trustworthy guardianship of public tax dollars. Only five percent of the State Auditor’s clients receive this award.


The Greene County Auditor’s office has received numerous governmental accounting awards over the years for strong internal controls to spend tax dollars appropriately.
