The Zach Upton campaign has removed a blank bio page from the candidate’s website following our article pointing out the page’s lack of content.

The timing of our article and the removal of the page could have been a coincidence. It is unfortunate, however, that rather than fill in the missing biography information, the Upton campaign chose to remove the page altogether. The end result of this action only serves to give voters less information about the candidate.

In any event, for better or for worse, the blank page that had been set aside at candidate Upton’s website for his biography is now gone.

The page had displayed the words “Coming Soon” where his biography should have been for a large part of the campaign. The page became the subject of an earlier article in The Record that asked whether candidates should be judged, in part, by how they manage their own websites.
