Beavercreek City levies passed with wide margins in the November 7, 2006 election. While advocates of a city income tax argue Beavercreek residents are overburdened by high property taxes, one wouldn’t think so given the results. Both levies passed with more than 60% of the vote.

The passage of Issue 6 renews the 5.3 mill levy for the Beavercreek City Schools. The passage of Issue 11 continues to fund Beavercreek’s roads with a slight increase at 1.9 mills. A Roads Levy increasing the millage to 2.7 was defeated on May 2, 2006.
