Cardboard Heroes has signed a three-year exclusive autograph deal with linebacker A.J. Hawk. The former Ohio State Buckeyes All-American, who was selected by the Green Bay Packers with the fifth overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, will autograph footballs, jerseys, helmets, photographs and other football memorabilia as part of the deal.
“We are thrilled to have been selected by A.J. to be his exclusive outlet for autographed merchandise,†said Johnny Campbell, President of Cardboard Heroes, Inc. “An athlete of A.J.’s talent and character doesn’t come around very often, and we wanted to be associated with him through this marketing arrangement,†said Campbell. As part of the agreement, Cardboard Heroes Sports Stuff will also host and manage Hawk’s website, www.ajhawk.com with a planned launch in early October.
