Eight pizza places within just half a mile of each other. It’s the Beavercreek Pizza Triangle and it has a new addition. In late August a new Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza opened off North Fairfield Road, approaching the Dayton-Xenia Road intersection in Beavercreek.

The new store is the eighth pizza place in what residents have begun calling “The Beavercreek Pizza Triangle”.

Within just half a mile from the new Papa Murphy’s are 7 other pizza places including Marion’s Piazza, East of Chicago Pizza, Pizza Hut, Dominos Pizza, Papa John’s Pizza, Rocky’s Pizza Ring and Donato’s Pizza. Four of the eight pizza places listed are within a 2 minute walk of each other; Marion’s, East of Chicago, Pizza Hut and the new Papa Murphy’s.

Residents have fun with the “Pizza Triangle” myth. Some even say there’s a strange force that draws pepperoni, cheese, sausage and pizza dough together here. The more likely reason is the area’s central location in Beavercreek and easy access to Fairfield Road and Rt 35. Still, the addition of Papa Murphy’s as the eighth pizza place here only reinforces the rumors about the pizza slice shaped geographic area.

Customers who visit Papa Murphy’s will find it’s not their traditional pizza place. Sure, there’s pizza, but the store sells what it calls “take-n-bake” pizzas. Pizzas are custom-made in front of customers who then take the pizzas home and cook them at their convenience.

Papa Murphy’s says it builds it’s strength on offering pizzas that are always fresh with fresh dough made daily, 100% real cheese and fresh ingredients for toppings. The pizza chain offers a large selection of pizza types including traditional, vegetarian, stuffed pizzas, specialty and gourmet pizzas. A long list of choices for toppings available to customers.

Unlike some of it’s competitors, there is no delivery service and it closes relatively early for a pizza place. Doors close at 8 pm during the week and 9 pm on weekends.
